Mac Operator (Digital Print)

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in a digital production environment, who is comfortable with manual work and has a foundation in digital design software and production processes.

Job Title: Mac Operator (Digital Printing) – Tallaght
Location: Tallaght, Dublin
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Industry: Digital Printing and Production
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Mac-based digital production software, mainly Adobe, and preparing print files for production and ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Collaborate with the production team to manage workflow, prepare files for print, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Handle manual tasks as required, including loading materials, maintaining print equipment, and performing light maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Ensure all projects meet the company’s quality standards and are completed within given timeframes.
- Work closely with clients, designers, and the internal team to achieve customer satisfaction and high-quality results.
- Manage digital files and file preparation, ensuring all files are correctly formatted and ready for printing.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a digital production environment, specifically with Mac-based systems and digital printing equipment is required for this role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other Mac-based software used in print production.
- Manual Dexterity: Comfortable with manual work, such as loading paper, handling print equipment, and performing physical tasks as part of daily duties.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, especially in file preparation, color matching, and quality control processes.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Capable of troubleshooting and resolving issues in a fast-paced production setting.
