Real People Recruitment is working with a well established, Expanding food company to help them hire a Full-Time Kitchen Cleaner and Assistant to join their production team. 

👩‍🍳 Position: Catering Assistant - 2 people required.
🥪 Duties: Food preparation, cleaning, washing
📍 Location: Dublin 12 – JFK Industrial Estate
💶 Pay: €14.15 per hour
⏰ Time: From 09:00 (or ASAP, latest start is 11:00) until 16:30 today
🔄 Payment: Next week via bank transfer with PPS number and timesheet.


**Overall Objective:**
Responsible for maintaining impeccable kitchen cleanliness, ensuring organizational efficiency, and managing the upkeep of all kitchen equipment.

**Main Duties:**
- Clean and dry all items used in food preparation by chefs.
- Keep the kitchen, storage areas, fridges, and service areas consistently organized, clean, and tidy.
- Receive deliveries, organize items, and ensure proper storage in the kitchen.
- Segregate and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Maintain and clean all kitchen machinery daily.
- Ensure thorough cleaning and organization of all areas after kitchen closure for the next day's service.
- Assist chefs with light food preparation.
- Foster a positive team environment by treating team members with respect and cooperation.

**People:**
- Treat team members with the same respect expected in return.
- Cooperate with all team members and undertake additional duties in the kitchen/service areas as needed.

**Health & Safety, Food Safety, the Environment:**
- Attend food safety, health and safety, and environmental training courses as required.
- Adhere to unit cleaning schedules and possess knowledge of cleaning products and their correct usage.
- Understand and follow waste segregation policies.

**Additional Responsibilities:**
- Attend all location meetings as required.
- Demonstrate commitment to company values.
- Be flexible with working hours to provide cover during holiday periods/sick leave.

**General:**
- Act as a positive ambassador for the business.
- Treat others with respect and uphold a positive and happy working environment.
- Take responsibility for personal development with guidance from the manager.
- Respond to all company memos and requests promptly.

**Key Skills/Experience:**
- Excellent spoken English.
- Minimum of 6 months' experience in a catering/hospitality role.
- HACCP training is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
