Job Description:

Real people recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Telesales Representative to join our client's growing team in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15. This role is focused on engaging with new and existing customers to promote our range of office supplies and office furniture, generating leads, and driving sales over the phone. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement:

    • Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers to promote products and services.
    • Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored recommendations.
  2. Sales and Lead Generation:

    • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
    • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  3. Product Knowledge:

    • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s product range to effectively communicate features and benefits.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
  4. CRM and Data Management:

    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
    • Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and drive conversions.
  5. Collaboration and Reporting:

    • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights.
    • Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance and market feedback.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience:

    • Previous experience in telesales or phone-based customer interaction is essential, preferably within the office supplies or office furniture industry.
  • Sales Skills:

    • Strong ability to persuade and influence customers while maintaining professionalism.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Communication:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and engaging phone manner.
  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Comfortable using CRM software and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Resilience and Drive:

    • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to handle objections and rejection constructively.
  • Team Player:

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
