Business Development Manager

Real people recruitment is working with a virtual reality (VR) design company that is an industry leader in creating patient-centric Virtual reality experiences. You will work with a team of 3D medical animators, writers, directors, designers, and consultants, the company has set out to redefine the relationship between patient, Health Care Provider and the Pharma industry through beautiful visualization, storytelling, and digital mental health.

Imagine having the ability to show patients what their treatment or operation will do inside their body, or future results, through their own VR experience.

If you are an enthusiastic, results-driven, Business Development Manager who is ready to drive International sales efforts, I would love to speak with you. You should also have a strong understanding of technology, a love for innovation, and patient-centric experiences and have a proven track record of identifying prospects and closing sizeable deals in the pharma and healthcare sector.
 
Focussing on innovation and digital transformation in pharma, including MOA (Mechanism of Action) video content, augmented reality, virtual reality, and interactive technology installations, this is an opportunity to join one of Ireland's most exciting businesses and be part of an innovation revolution.

An extensive pharma related business development experience required with a proven track record in sales target delivery, particularly in the marketing and communications space, is a mandatory requirement for this role. Remuneration is competitive with a basic salary and commission-based bonuses. The role is based in Dublin with some travel expected.

Minimum requirements

  • Extensive experience in sales and business development in pharma, particularly in the marketing and communications space.
  • Experience of pipeline management software (e.g Pipedrive) and managing a pipeline from start to finish
  • Successful management of social media and marketing campaigns including promoted content and targeting, understanding data analysis and retargeting
  • Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals in the 6 and 7 figure range
  • Experience meeting with prospective clients and presenting a sales deck
  • A strong, demonstrable network of international buyers in the pharma marketing and communication space
  • Experience with technology, creativity, and media a benefit
