Logistics Coordinator

Real people recruitment is working on behalf of our client, a leading logistics company based in Dublin 15, we are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their growing operations team.

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Dublin 15
Salary: €32,000 - €34,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong logistics, inventory, and freight coordination experience to step into a key role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage logistics functions including stock management, order processing, fulfilment, scheduling, shipment planning, and job pricing

  • Expedite freight consignments efficiently while tracking costs and maintaining up-to-date records on the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order flow, customer satisfaction, and optimal stock availability

  • Monitor shipments across various channels, resolving delays and errors quickly

  • Review shipping documentation and purchase orders for accuracy and compliance

  • Engage with subcontractors, service providers, and transportation partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods

  • Implement and uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards, including ISO and regulatory guidelines

  • Maintain strong customer relationships by understanding client needs and ensuring service excellence

  • Continuously contribute to process improvements to optimize the supply chain and logistics performance

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination, freight forwarding, and inventory management

  • Strong knowledge of the supply chain, common challenges, and effective solutions

  • Proficiency in WMS and other logistics software systems

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-moving environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset

  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and ISO requirements in logistics

  • A results-driven approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service
