Field Service Engineer

We are assisting the company to recruit a talented and experienced Field Service Engineer to join the team in Dublin. The Field Service Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of our medical devices at customer sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about healthcare technology and who thrive in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location -  Dublin, Ireland, Travel to client sites required (Full driving licence necessary)
Salary: €50,000 per annum
Contract : Permanent contract, employed directly with company

Key Responsibilities:
  • To engage in the technical repair, both preventative and corrective, of equipment at customer sites or other locations.
  • To undertake technical and user support training (both locally and in Germany) for B. Braun products and any other relevant equipment.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical devices
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Quality Assurance, to address customer needs and resolve technical issues promptly
  • Document service activities, including equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance, accurately and comprehensively
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, technical advancements, and industry trends to effectively support customers and contribute to product improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in servicing and maintaining medical devices, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong technical aptitude with proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to customer sites as needed.
