They are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Workshop & Project Manager to oversee their North Dublin facility and lead their production team.

Salary: €50,000 – €60,000 per annum + performance-related bonus (DOE)

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
As the Workshop & Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the workshop operates at peak efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety. You will bridge the gap between hands-on production and project management—ensuring bespoke projects are delivered on time, staff are effectively supervised, and clients receive an exceptional level of service.
Workshop & Operations Management
Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring the team adheres to the standard production schedule (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM).
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully operational workshop environment, addressing any machinery or operational snags promptly.
Enforce strict health and safety protocols; ensure heavy machinery is only operated by fully trained personnel and handle instant incident reporting.
Manage inventory by preparing weekly stock orders (sheet materials, hardware, paint) with suppliers, keeping holding stock minimized, and conducting end-of-month stock takes.
Project Management & Quality Control
Manage high-end residential and commercial projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery matches technical drawings and deadlines.
Act as the final quality control benchmark, critically reviewing all finished and painted items before they leave the floor.
Identify project extras or variations and communicate them to the office; resolve fitting issues swiftly and secure client/project manager sign-off.
Review job folders, quotes, and drawings in detail for all inbound projects to ensure seamless execution.
Team Leadership & Communication
Supervise, mentor, and review the performance of junior workshop staff, maintaining clear performance records.
Attend weekly alignment meetings with the Operations Manager every Monday to distribute job sheets, provide pipeline updates, and report operational changes.
Collaborate with administration and senior management every Friday by 2:00 PM to agree on the upcoming week's production schedule and works roster.
Experience: Proven track record in workshop management, joinery, high-end furniture manufacturing, or fit-out project management.
Leadership: Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop junior craftspeople and apprentices.
Technical Skills: Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings, quotes, and complex project folders.
Organization: Exceptional time management skills with a proven knack for scheduling, stock procurement, and meeting tight deadlines.
Logistics: Must possess a full driving license and own transport, as the North Dublin facility is best accessed by private vehicle.
Competitive Salary: €50,000 – €60,000 baseline, tailored to your level of experience.
