Accountant

Swords, Ireland · Accounting/Finance

Role: Client-Facing Practice Accountant (Specialist Sectors)

Location: Dublin (Hybrid – 3 Days Office / 2 Days Remote after probation)

Salary: €50,000 – €60,000 (Part-Qualified) | €60,000 – €70,000 (Fully Qualified)

Sector: Specialist Accounting Practice (IT & Pharma Focus)

The Opportunity

We are exclusively partnering with a leading, fast-paced ACCA-accredited practice to recruit a high-caliber Client Accountant. Due to significant organic growth, the firm is looking for a strategic "Addition to Team" who can bridge the gap between technical accounting and high-level client advisory.

This is not a "back-office" processing role. You will be joining a firm that prides itself on being a proactive business partner to high-earning contractors and business owners in the IT and Pharma sectors.

The Role

As a Client-Facing Accountant, you will manage your own portfolio, acting as the primary financial advisor for professionals moving through various stages of their business lifecycle—from solo contracting to high-volume trading entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advisory & Meetings: Hosting regular client consultations to discuss financial performance, tax planning, and corporate structure.

  • Portfolio Management: Managing the end-to-end accounting requirements for a niche group of high-transaction clients.

  • Tax & Compliance: Overseeing the delivery of statutory accounts, VAT, and Corporation Tax, ensuring all "Trade Level" requirements are met.

  • Business Growth: Supporting clients as they scale, assisting with the transition from simple structures to complex Personal Limited Companies.

The Person

The ideal person is a confident communicator who enjoys the "human" side of accounting as much as the technical side.

  • Qualifications: Fully Qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) or Finalist/Nearly-Qualified.

  • Practice Background: Essential. You must have previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment.

  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the confidence to lead meetings and explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Energy: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to work in a modern, tech-forward firm.

The Package & Benefits

Our client is known for investing in their people and offers a highly competitive environment:

  • Training: Full 6-month intensive training program to integrate you into their specific workflows and sectors.

  • Flexibility: A balanced hybrid model (3 days in-office per week).

  • Financials: Strong base salary + Performance Bonus + Pension.

  • Peace of Mind: Illness Benefit and Paid On-Site Parking.

The Interview Process

The firm is looking to move quickly, with the ability to complete both rounds of interviews within a single week:

  1. Stage 1: Introductory Video Call via MS Teams.

  2. Stage 2: On-site interview at the office to meet the Senior Leadership team (Lindsay and Vanessa).

Interested in making the move to a more client-centric role? Apply today for a confidential consultation.
