HR Generalist and Payroll

Real People Recruitment is working with an FMCG Retail supplier based in Dundalk to help them hire a HR Generalist and Payroll person to join their team. The role is a 12 month Fixed term contract, due to a team member going on Maternity leave. The company also hope that with the growth and expansion that they will be able to consolidate it next year and make the temporary role, a permanent position.

The details of the role are as follows
Job Title - HR Generalist and Payroll specialist
Salary - €28,000 - €40,000 DOE.
Location - Dundalk, Co. Louth.
Contract - Permanent, employed directly. 40 hours per week

The main duties and responsibilities for this role are as follows;
  • Responsible for EU payroll and outsourced payroll partner
  • Production of payroll reports for finance and auditors.
  • Calculation & administration of monthly Medical Insurance, Pension & other payroll related deductions
  • Assist with recruitment, interviewing and assessing candidates as needed
  • Responsible for orientation and on-boarding process in Europe.

In order to be shortlisted for this role, Ideally, the right person will have
  • Payroll experience in an international fast paced organization
  • Educated to degree level in HR or relevant experience in the field.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Employment Legislation within Ireland.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications, Excel being of particular importance.
